Ok, I have finally (after 23 restaurants!) found somewhere that we can meet. It's not ideal, in that they couldn't sit us after 6:00 pm and I was trying to do seven so that we had time to go to hotel and then dinner - sorry. It's important to be there on time Wednesday, if we don't have a good part of the group by 6:00 they'll put us on a wait list.

I received some input into what would make most of you feel comfortable and I think Clyde's will meet this criteria.

Event runs 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Friday, April 4 at the Dulles Area Association of REALTORS office at 803 Sycolin Rd. in Leesburg. Here's our agenda.
An optional happy hour will be held Thursday, April 3 at Clyde's in Ashburn. Get details and RSVP here if you plan to attend.
Lunch is being paid for by VAR (please make a note here if you have any special dietary requirements)
Keith Garner, Managing Director of NAR’s Center for REALTOR Technology, will talk with us and answer questions during lunch. Please add questions you’d like Keith to answer here.
This is primarily a peer-to-peer learning event. Participants are encouraged to brainstorm 50 minute talks that they’ll volunteer to give. You can add a description of your suggested talk here, but you don’t have to.
The talks can be about whatever you want, and participants will vote at the beginning of the day for the talks they want to hear.

What is TREC and why should I care? (Ben Martin)
What types of checks and balances does NAR have in place regarding any type of technology they use (e.g. email, Realtor.org, etc)? (Danilo)
What is NAR's stance on new technologies such as social media, blogs, etc? If not receptive, why? If receptive, why is this stance not being communicated to brokers to calm nerves about their agents utilizing these technologies? (Danilo)
What technologies, software or widgets are "in the works" to help Realtors? If there are some in the works, has NAR contacted Realtors for feedback prior to allocating/spending money on them? If there are some well along the way, is NAR contacting Reator members to help with beta testing, comments and suggestions? (Danilo)
How much grief did you get from others regarding the Blogger's Lounge you set up, if any? (Danilo)
How feasible is it to expand wi-fi access at the NAR Conference? (Daniel)
How do we get our local association on board with Blogging? They keep using some instance they had 10 years ago with a message board that went "wild" and created a lawsuit. (Frank LLosa)
Can you talk about the use of, and ownership of theword "MLS." I don't fully understand the rules.
